The main function of the switchgear is to open and close, control and protect electrical equipment during the process of power generation, transmission, distribution and electrical energy conversion in the power system. The components in the switch cabinet are mainly composed of circuit breakers, isolating switches, load switches, operating mechanisms, mutual inductors, and various protection devices.
High-voltage switchgear refers to the role of on-off, control or protection in the power generation, transmission, distribution, power conversion and consumption of the power system. The high-voltage switchgear is used as an electrical product with a voltage level of 3.6kV~550kV. There are several categories such as grounding switch, high-voltage load switch, high-voltage automatic coincidence and sectioning device, high-voltage operating mechanism, high-voltage explosion-proof power distribution device and high-voltage switch cabinet.
The high-voltage switchgear equipment is designed to ensure the correct interlocking of the operating procedures of each part of the switchgear. The input and withdrawal of each part of the switchgear by the operator shall be carried out in strict accordance with the operating regulations and the requirements of this technical document. It should not be operated randomly, let alone It should be mandatory to operate without analyzing the problem when the operation is blocked. Otherwise, it will cause damage to the equipment and even cause an accident.
Let's take a closer look at the operating requirements of the high-voltage switchgear.
1. The operator must hold a special post operation certificate (high-voltage network access certificate), and the high-voltage operation must be carried out by two persons, one person for operation, and one person for supervision.
2. The operator must understand the status and work content of the high-voltage switchgear, and be familiar with the performance and operation methods of the high-voltage switchgear being operated. Organizational and technical measures must be taken during operation. Switching operations are prohibited during lightning;
3. It is strictly forbidden to operate the high-voltage ring network cabinet;
4. Before operating the SF6 switchgear, check whether the SF6 pressure gauge indicates whether it is within the normal range (not less than 5 atmospheres)
5. The tools used must meet the standard of use. Check insulated gloves, insulated shoes, and operating rods before operation. If there is moisture, breakage, or damage, and the insulation registration is lower than the voltage to be operated, operation is prohibited.
6. Wear insulation and insulating gloves during operation.
7. Operate strictly in accordance with the operating sequence.
8. After a power failure, a warning sign should be hung on the high-voltage switchgear and locked.
